Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! What an awesome time to be saved and living the Zoe (God kind of) life! Please allow me this opportunity to share a word of encouragement with you during this time of uncertainty, unrest, and unruliness. It’s the enemy’s desire to see you fall into the common fray of everyday negativity, that’s designed to pull you down and cause you to not experience all that the Lord desires for you; but isn’t it comforting to know that God has already patterned us for success? Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that He know the thoughts that He thinks towards us, they are thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give us hope and a future.
In this uncertain world in which we live, God has already given us a hope and a future. Your future is extremely bright in the Father! You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). God has graced us to succeed, and our success is not contingent upon this world’s systems, schemes, scams, and shenanigans. The promise that God gave to Joshua is available and applicable to us today; keep this book of the law (God’s Word) always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful (Joshua 1:8). Why do I say that we have the grace to succeed? I say that because we don’t deserve success, but God made it possible for us to succeed because of His love for us! That’s wonderful news! It prompts us know that there is nothing that we can do in and of ourselves to deserve it, so it takes the pressure off of us to “Perform”, we can simply be who He created us to be and in enjoy our bright future. Go out today, and be the success that He has created you to be!

Hello and blessings to you all. I'm extremely excited about what the Lord is doing in the body of Unwavering Faith Christian Church, (UFCC). He has blessed us beyond our earnest expectations in our first year of existence, and we're anticipating the inevitable; supernatural intervention of God in this second year. I would like to personally extend an invitation to you to come and experience this mighty move and work of God with us. We believe that there is a God-Ordained place for you here at UFCC, and we can't wait until you're here in place and functioning in the things of God.
Psalm 92:13 tells us that, "Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God" Come and flourish with us, the body will be so much more beautiful once you're planted!! We are excited about Jesus and what He's getting ready to do in your life, we'll see you this Sunday, can't wait!! We have entered into the season of Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, Deck the Halls and many other seasonal favorites. There is absolutely nothing amiss with singing the carols of the season, but we must remember that it was a “Holy Night” for a reason. “O’ Holy night, the stars are brightly shining; it is the night of our dear Savior’s birth.” The Prophet Isaiah prophesied, “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder, and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6.
Upon that declaration, it is crucial that we remember that the existence of the Son of God did not commence with His birth in Bethlehem. He is spoken of as the Son before He became a man. Micah prophesies of His birth, but yet state that His “Goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” (Micah 5:2). John exclaims that He existed “In the beginning” before anything was created. (John 1:1-3). Even before He was born of Mary, He appeared to men in the Old Testament as the “Angel of the Lord.” It is clear that this Angel is no ordinary angel because He is identified as God in Exodus 3:1. While we indeed celebrate the Savior’s birth, let us not demagnetize His purpose. He did not remain a babe wrapped in swaddling cloth, nor did He remain the 12 year old who sat attentively in the Temple listening to the Elders. Jesus Christ was fully man apart from sin, and as a man He experienced the normal physical, mental, social, and spiritual growth as others did. He suffered pain, hunger, thirst, fatigue, temptation, pleasure and rest. Because of His complete humanity, He is sympathetic and compassionate towards us. In other words, that baby in the manger has grown up and is able to relate to anything we could ever face in this life. This is the time of the year that many suffer depression, oppression, sorrow, and loneliness. Not only was our Savior born, but He also died so that we could live free from all of the afore mentioned states. Family of God, as we enter into this Christmas Season, continue to enjoy your favorite carols. Cherish the time with family and purpose to keep it Holy, knowing that our Savior is no longer in Bethlehem (as a baby), but He’s with us (Emanuel). Trust Him to be God of your life in this holiday season. Be Bountifully Blessed, Sheila Hello and blessings to you all.
